This news goes out to all the Georgia residents who were crushed at the news that apparent heartthrob Ty Pennington canceled on his appearance at this weekend’s Decatur Book Festival.
Instead of ogling Pennington, you can come to the Festival and hang out with me!
And if that’s not enough, I’ll be hanging out with Rob Venditti, who is infinitely more cool, important and interesting than I am.
In case you’re behind the times, Rob is the author of The Surrogates, a book that came out a couple years ago from Top Shelf Comix and is now being made into a movie starring Bruce-freaking-Willis.
Rob also works for Top Shelf, which is based here in Georgia (as well as in Portland), and we’re going to be manning the Top Shelf booth at the Festival.
So come on by this Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. We’ll be there pretty much all day.
