If you’ve ever wondered if “that Van Jensen character” really exists, you’ll have your proof this weekend as I join the festivities at Heroes Con in Charlotte.
It’ll be my first big con, and I’ll be doing some coverage for Publishers Weekly and ComicMix, who, bless them, pay me to write about comics. Lots of good panels on the docket and a ton of creators turning out, so it should be a good time. Expect some photos hereabouts and elsewhere.
I’ll also be handing out some previews of a new comic that I wrote, Pinnochio: Vampire Slayer. Expect to hear more about that soon. Just rest assured, it’s ridiculously awesome.
So if you’re headed to Heroes, don’t be a stranger. Just look for the guy in the above photo. About 30 feet tall, dark hair, chiseled features and a Superman costume.
