  • Here’s a press release you pay attention to: New edible comic book. Too bad it’s 3 parts clever and 0 parts real.
  • The Sydney (Australia) Morning-Herald invited a psychiatrist to examine Batman. The psychiatrist said Bruce Wayne would likely experience separation from the real world, a drive for justice, fatigue, depression and the urge to call Robin a “retard” while killing police officers. Oh, wait, I added that last bit.
  • Over at ye Olde Comick Booke Blogge there are worries voiced that the current state of the comics industry is perilously close to the state of things right before the 1990s bust.
  • Speaking of interviews, The Onion AV Club sat down with Daniel Clowes for a very engrossing read.
  • The New York Magazine’s entertainment page, Vulture, always has lots of great previews of upcoming books. On the site right now is a look at Image book Hawaiian Dick. You’ll want to bookmark that one.
  • Peter David hates Dr. Phil. Also, he’s voting for John Edwards, who apparently was the only candidate to attend a WGA rally.
